In the beginning of the millennium Soprano Marjoleine Schaap joined the Duo Karin Dolman (viola) and Caecilia Boschman (piano). Together they formed the Ophelia Trio. Over the years they made many beautiful programs commissioned by their hometown, the oldest town of Holland Dordrecht.
This town, with a rich heritage of history, gives the trio plenty of inspiration for the annual concerts in their hometown.
The specialism of the Ophelia Trio in creating interactive concerts made them liked to see musicians on literature evenings, exhibitions and theatre productions.
Together with Thea Rosmulder on clarinet and actress Lotti de Bruyn they toured through the Netherlands with a children’s production ‘The White Rabbit’ from the Finnish composer Seppo Pohjolla.
